Let’s look at the top social media sites. The Content Marketing Institute performed a survey of the most popular social platforms used to market Business-2-Customer companies. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Facebook is the leading social media site for marketing, but pay attention to the other social media sites as well. Video marketing is one of the best methods of communication, and LinkedIn and Google+ are noticeably climbing the marketing popularity ladder because of the unique cultures they’re crafting around their users.

Why do businesses use these platforms in particular? Because that’s where their audience is. Take a look at these amazing statistics about the top 5 social media sites for business.

This is a lot of information, but here’s some good news:You don’t have to be active on all of these social media sites.
